"Dawn in Nashville" Launches on Moody Radio in Nashville
98.7 FM and 1200 AM added to Moody Radio's lineup in Nashville
Listeners to Moody Radio in Nashville are waking up to Dawn in Nashville.
Recently launched, Moody Radio’s new morning show in Nashville features Dawn Rae and airs weekdays from 6 to 9 a.m., and can be heard on 91.7 FM, 98.7 FM and 1200AM, as well as through the Moody Radio mobile app. Online streaming is also available at www.moodyradio.org/nashville.
“Dawn is well known to our audience as a long-time voice on Moody Radio, and she brings a warm and encouraging spirit to the morning show,” said station manager, Scott Thunder.
Previous to hosting the morning show, Rae worked for six years covering the morning drive at Moody Radio Nashville. Changing direction a little more than three years ago, Dawn took a position within the Christian school her children attend but stayed involved with Moody Radio in Nashville, filling in for morning drive periodically.
Host Dawn Rae grew up in Berea, Ky., and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky in telecommunications. Dawn and her husband, Ben, have been married for 24 years and have three children.

“With the opportunity to use more of the skill set the Lord has given me with a daily radio show and additional responsibilities, I’m more than excited to be back at Moody Radio in Nashville,” Rae added.
“Dawn in Nashville is a strategic element in our continuing effort to offer unique and compelling programming to middle Tennessee,” added Thunder. “Dawn is the perfect host to help welcome our new listeners as we expand through Nashville and we’re excited to see how the Lord will use this show and others in the lives of others.”
As announced last summer, Moody Radio has purchased two new signals, 1200 AM and 98.7 FM. For the first time, Nashville and its metropolitan area, which makes up more than 7,000 square miles and includes a half million potential new listeners, will have the opportunity to tune into Moody Radio. Both signals are licensed as repeater stations and are now carrying programming originating from Moody Radio’s 91.7 FM in Murfreesboro, Tenn., to Nashville.
